All workshops are done either in-person or virtually.

Effectively Engaging in Feedback

Feedback is a cornerstone of our development. People who actively seek out have higher job satisfaction, adapt more quickly, and prevent feeling stagnant. And for those offering feedback, doing it effectively supports others to create change and unlock potential.

Even though we know this, feedback phobia abounds. It can be uncomfortable, anxiety-inducing, and hard to do well. As a result, we often approach feedback awkwardly, get emotionally charged, or avoid it all together.

This workshop shifts our relationship with feedback — allowing participants to uncover what’s getting in the way of requesting or sharing it. We’ll tap into the art and neuroscience of feedback: where (and why) we tend to get hooked, how to recognize unproductive feedback patterns, and ways to use feedback as a learning opportunity. Key takeaways from this session include techniques to confidently (and effectively) engage in feedback conversations, and communication tips to build stronger relationships in the process.

You’ve likely heard the terms executive presence, or leadership embodiment. What do these terms really mean and, more importantly, how do we demonstrate them? 

In this interactive session, participants will reflect on what influences their personal behaviors, identify how the various ways they “show up” impacts the success of their collaboration with others, and what extraordinary results they can achieve through shifting mindsets. They will learn to recognize common reactive strategies that can diminish personal power, as well as practices to evoke a more impactful presence, including strategies for projecting credibility and confidence in tough meetings and uncomfortable conversations.

Stepping Into Being the Leader You Want To Be

Courageous Conversations

Sometimes unlocking what’s possible comes down to having a courageous conversation.  When the stakes are high – and emotions tend to be as well – courageous conversations can transform what’s awkward into empowering, mutually beneficial exchanges.

This workshop gives participants the opportunity to get more comfortable with having hard conversations through insightful content, real-time conversation, and experimentation. 

Participants will learn ways to move away from pre-conversation dread, practice ways to tap into their courage, and leave this session with the confidence (and an initial plan) to successfully engage in an upcoming courageous conversation.

Leading Through Change

The change horizon becoming shorter (and more rapid) each year.  As leaders, your team members navigate these roads with people looking to them for guidance, assurance, and an example to follow. 

This workshop supports participants to traverse through change effectively as both individuals as leaders through discussions covering change-averse mindsets, change management principles, and building an agility toolkit.  Leaders will gain an understanding of the people side of change and grow confidence to steer both themselves and colleagues through professional transformations.

Upping Your Communication Game

If you’re looking to develop your team to communicate more effectively, generate buy-in, and creatively influence and collaborate with others -- this workshop is a great solution.

During this interactive session, Suzanne will walk participants through techniques to create conversations that are both compelling and impactful. We’ll discuss what great communication looks like, how to avoid conversational landmines, and ways to project confidence through a style that generates credibility and draws in the audience.

Each person will have the opportunity to practice, workshop, and receive feedback on techniques that build confidence, connection, and improve listening skills.

As leaders, how do we adapt our style to effectively cultivate deeper relationships with and drive our team’s performance in a virtual (or hybrid) environment?    

In this workshop, we’ll lead participants through simple methods to build and strengthen trust with their virtual team, communicate effectively, and close the physical gap. 

Leaders will gain an understanding of the role that tone, energy, and pace play in getting our message across and draw in our team, techniques for improved listening and how to be more present, and the value of co-creating our team’s digital “rules of engagement”

Innovation Through a Coaching Mindset

The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.

Our workshop offers a coaching toolkit for colleagues to support each other; empowering them to partner in a thought-provoking and creative process to maximize their potential. We’ll model and guide participants through exercises in real-time, surfacing an opportunity to experience the impact of their behaviors in the group setting.

This interactive session enhances valuable leadership skills including listening, getting comfortable with others’ perspectives and emotions, asking insightful questions, and helping people find their own solutions.
